Mentorship Program

Do you have a mentorship success story you would like to share? Send your email to: Kristen.Grubb@osumc.edu or Ellen.Miller@osumc.edu. All postings will be anonymous.

The Premedical Initiative Mentorship program matches premedical students with medical school mentors. Premeds are surveyed for their mentor preferences and matched to a medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. From that point forward, the connection between the premed and med students is up to each of them. The mentor can be utilized for advice, shadowing, social interactions or any other method to be determined by the premedical mentee. The overall purpose of the mentor is to allow open communication between medical students and those students interested in career in medicine.

Looking for a mentor?
Email Kristen.Grubb@osumc.edu or Ellen.Miller@osumc.edu with your preferences (if any) in a mentor. Preferences can include gender, undergrad college and major, hometown, or marriage status. Any other information or interests that you can provide is very helpful. Please be patient, matching with a mentor usually takes 2-3 weeks once your preferences are received.
